Toni Kroos broke the all-time La Liga record for wins achieved by a newcomer to the division after closing out the 14/15 campaign with 28 victories. The German midfielder has thereby overtaken two fellow countrymen who played for Real Madrid, Illgner and Özil, each of whom notched up 27 wins during their debut seasons in the competition. Kroos triumphed in 77.7% of the fixtures in which he featured.

Taking the whole season into account, the midfielder racked up 39 wins during his first season with Real Madrid. Along with his 28 victories in La Liga, he recorded 8 in the Champions League, 2 in the Club World Cup and 1 in the European Super Cup.
